Richard Osbourne

Richard is an IT Solutions/Technical Architect and Rocketry Consultant. He is also the Chair the UK Rocketry Association (UKRA) Safety and Technical Committee and a Council member of the British Interplanetary Society and former UKSEDS committee member.

Justin Paines

Justin is one of the founders of the SET and is an International Space University (ISU) alumnus. A former RAF test pilot for the Harrier and Joint Strike Fighter, he now works for QinetiQ as test pilot on the VAAC Harrier.
 
Bee (Bijal) Thakore

Bee is Consultant/Technical Assistant to the CEO of Premier Farnell and also has her own business, Big On Good. She is an ISU alumna and a Director of the Planetary Society. In 2008 she was awarded the Women Engineering Society Engineer of the Year Award by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and in 2009 was one of Management Today's '35 Under 35' High Achievers in Business.

Dr Chris Welch (Chair of Trustees)

Chris is a member of the Resident Faculty of the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg, France. He is the Chair of YuriGagarin50 and board member/trustee of the World Space Week Association, Spacelink Learning Foundation, the British Interplanetary Society and The Arts Catalyst. Chris is also the winner of the 2009 Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Space Education.

Dave Wright


Dave is a historian of and writer on UK Defense and Space Policy and an experienced educator at all levels. He is the creator and Director of the British Rocketry Oral History Programme (BROHP) and has organised nine BROHP conferences  as well as three of UK Space Conferences (UKSC), which replaced the BROHP ones.
